PAGS does not cancel an entire days schedule of games based upon weather considerations because conditions may vary greatly across our coverage area. The decision to cancel game(s) due to weather lies with the home Club. If the decision is made to cancel games due to weather, notification must be given to the appropriate parties no less than 2 hours prior to the first game scheduled on a field. You are not required notify the League office.
First notify your Referee Assignor in order that the officials may be cancelled. You can find your Assignor HERE or on the Referee page of the PAGS website. If the Referee Assignor is not notified in a timely manner it may result in the home Club being responsible for referee fees for the first game scheduled on each affected field.
You should then notify the visiting team coaches and the home team coaches.
After a game is cancelled the two teams should work to reschedule the game. Once an agreement is reached on a new date the Home Club should submit a Game Change Request Form to PAGS in order to reschedule the game.
