Program Philosophy:  The PAGS Elite Development/Player Development Programs (EDP and PDP) are intended to promote individual player development for all levels of player.  To that end PAGS will provide the PAGS Player Development Program geared to the beginning to intermediate skill level player and the Nike Elite Development Program for the advanced player.

Director of Player Development:  The Director of Player Development, as appointed by the PAGS Executive Committee, shall be responsible for all facets of the Programs, to include:

  • Selection of Technical Director
  • Selection of Trainers and Coaches
  • Selection of Academy Sites
  • Tournaments Recommendations
  • Coordination with National Team coaches for the purpose of identifying players

Eligibility:  All players, whether registered with a PAGS team or not, are eligible to particpate in the PAGS Player Development Programs.

Self-Supporting Programs:  The PAGS Player Development Programs are self-supporting.  The individual player costs include the cost of training, uniforms, tournament participation (where appropriate), and other administrative expenses.

Scholarships:  No player should be prevented from participating in the Programs because of lack of financial resources.  PAGS provides a scholarship program to underwrite the cost to the player.  A player should request such assistance in writing from the PAGS Executive Committee.
