How to Apply to the PAGS 2018 Fall Season

PAGS will operate three separate leagues for the 2018 fall season, each with their own set of rules and thier own application.  It is important that all teams understand this concept fully in order to apply for the proper league.

U9 to U14 teams may choose from the following options:

1. The PAGS Developmental Geographic League (PDGL).  The PDGL is for those teams seeking to limit the required amount of travel, while also playing at the appropriate competitive level.  The focus of the PGDL is player development.  The PDGL will have county based divisions, as follows:  Blue Route, Bucks County (BUCKS), Chester County (CHESCO), Delaware County (DELCO); Montgomery County (MONTCO), Philadelphia County (PHILA), Lehigh County (LEHIGH), and Delaware/Maryland (DELMAR).  The PDGL will offer roster flexibility, to include secondary players on rosters, club pass players, and guest players on game daysPAGS will also offer flexibility in scheduling of games.  Teams will play a 9-game schedule.  Standings will not be kept and scores will not be recorded online for the U9 and U10 age groups in keeping with USSF guidelines.  Divisional winners in the U11 to U14 age groups being determined by standings at the end of the 9 games.  PAGS will work with teams to eliminate as many coaching conflicts as possible once teams have had a chance to see the schedules from all the leagues their teams are playing in. Or,

2.  The PAGS Premier League (PPL).  The PPL will serve those teams looking for the highest level of completion appropriate to their level of play.  Typically, teams playing in the PPL will play in state association Cup competitions, and as such will be required to abide by roster limitations.  PAGS will continue allow secondary players on rosters and the use of club pass players on game days.  There will be playoffs at the U13 to U14 age groups in the PPL in the fall season only.  U13 to U14 age groups will play an 8-game schedule followed by the playoffs.  The U9 to U12 age groups will play a 9-game schedule.   Standings will not be kept and scores will not be recorded online for the U9 and U10 age groups in keeping with USSF guidelines.  Divisional winners in the U11 and U12 age groups will be determined by standings at the end of the 9 gamesTeams playing in the PPL will earn GotSoccer ranking points.  PAGS will work with teams to eliminate as many coaching conflicts as possible once teams have had a chance to see the schedules from all the leagues their teams are playing in.

Formerly known as the PAGS Short Season, the PCQL gives teams in the U15 to U19 age groups the ability to qualify for the various Cups offered by State associations.  The PCQL offers a regularly scheduled league with all teams playing a three game schedule.  Participants in the PCQL will have options of how to schedule their 3 games, choosing if they wish to play all divisional games at a common site on a specific weekend or if they would prefer to schedule the games over the fall season.

Once your team has decided which league to play in you will need to complete the online application form for the league you have chosen.  PAGS will be using GotSoccer for our applications for the 2018 Fall Season.

The application period for both the PDGL and PPL will run from 5/1/18 to 6/30/18.  The application period for the PCQL will run from 7/15/18 to 8/15/18.  To apply teams must have a GotSoccer account.  Most teams will have an account from playing in GotSoccer sponsored tournaments.  The first page of the application is where you enter your current GotSoccer login information or where you create a new GotSoccer account.  Once you login to the application you will be requested to provide information about your team as in the past.

You will be asked to select the Division you wish to play in.  For the PDGL you will select the Geographic Division (Blue Route, Bucks, Chesco, etc.), as well as the competitive level within the Geographic Division (6-7 or 8-10).  For the PPL you will be asked to select the competitive level (Division 1 through Division 5).  For the PCQL you will be asked to select the competitive level (Division 1 through Division 10).

All teams must enter roster information.  You can do so at the time of application, or you can log back into your account and do so at a later date.

For all three leagues you will be required to pay by credit card in order to complete the application process, unless your Club has requested to be allowed to pay with a single check.  You will by provided with a Voucher Number by your club, which you may use in lieu of a credit card, if they are paying with a single check.  If you have not received a Voucher Number you must pay by credit card!  You will receive a confirmation email.  If you do not receive such an email contact PAGS at exec@pags.org.
